Description
A new exhibition of photographs showing the intimate relationship between the late Queen Elizabeth II and her beloved corgis opens at London's Wallace Collection on Wednesday, revealing a side of the record-breaking monarch that many may have never seen. "They chart her life" explains the exhibition's curator and Wallace Collection Director, Xavier Bray, "you see her as a young girl, you see her as an eighteen-year-old, you see her in official state with her corgis". The exhibition features nine photographs of the monarch with her favourite dog breed which, as Bray adds, "had a wonderful way of humanising her." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
