Description
In Siberia, Russia, the Vinogradov family is raising 16 children. Five of them were relocated by Russian authorities from children's homes in the Moscow-controlled city of Lugansk in eastern Ukraine. Ukrainian half-siblings, four girls and a boy, between the ages of three and 12, arrived in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk from Moscow six months ago. The Vinogradov family insists they simply want to help children in need, saying local authorities asked them to take in Ukrainian children after they requested another child. "What I see is that they were in need" says Roman Vinogradov, "they were living in children's homes... they don't think they were stolen". IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
