Description
Family, friends and supporters attend a ceremony at a Rio de Janeiro church to remember black LGBTQ rights activist and Rio city councillor Marielle Franco and her driver Anderson Gomes, whose killing triggered outcry in Brazil and beyond. "Five years later, we haven't seen justice," says President of Amnesty International Brazil, Jurema Werneck, attending the ceremony. Franco and Gomes were shot multiple times by occupants of another vehicle as they pursued her car in Rio de Janeiro in 2018. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
