A traditional symbol of Ramadan, Ola Esleem makes dozens of lanterns with colourful khayamiya fabric at her home, as she prepares to deliver orders to tradesmen ahead of the Muslim holy month. The 33-year-old Palestinian woman has been practising this hobby for years but as the demand grew higher, it turned into a business - a way to cope with difficult economic conditions in the Israeli-blockaded Gaza Strip.
