To combat a shortage of skilled workers, German solar company Enpal has decided to take matters into its own hands, opening a vocational school to train workers in an industry that is crucial to Germany's energy transition. "We have to train an unbelievable number of people" says one instructor, in the midst of much higher demand for renewables after Russia's invasion of Ukraine forced the country to end its reliance on Russian energy.
