Description
"Like a firework" explains the project lead of a team of auroral scientists from the Swedish Institute of Space Physics, which has launched a rocket from the Esrange Space station in Sweden to recreate the phenomenon of the northern lights in the sky and study space weather. "People now cannot imagine life without GPS, without TV, without satellite TV, without mobile phone and so on. And to have all of this we need to know space weather" says Dr. Tima Sergienko.
