Description
Dozens of displaced people live in makeshift houses in the neighbourhood of La Mara, Dominican Republic, as the army is turning down their homes to make way for the anti-migrant wall that the Dominican government is building on the border with Haiti. Leocadio Guzman saw his house marked with an "MF" code, which locals presume stands for 'muro fronterizo' or border wall. "People told me that the military entered and marked the house," says Leocadio, "I had to accept it, you can't go against the law." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
