US President Joe Biden says he is not seeking conflict with Iran after ordering US airstrikes on Syria that killed pro-Iran fighters. "Make no mistake, the United States does not seek conflict with Iran, but be prepared for us to act forcefully to protect our people," he says in Ottawa during a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, after the strikes were carried out in retaliation for a drone attack that killed an American.
