Train traffic at Berlin's main station is at a standstill with some passengers caught out as Germany faces a major strike bringing much of the country's air traffic, rail service and commuter lines to a halt as workers demand wage hikes in the face of brisk inflation. "We didn't realise that they were even striking" says one passenger from the US.
