Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo says she has a clear "roadmap" after Parisians "voted overwhelmingly" to ban for-hire electric scooters from the streets of the French capital, in an unprecedented consultation marked by low turnout.
A little over 100.000 people cast their vote - around 7.46% of those eligible - with nearly 90 percent voting against e-scooters. Hidalgo nonetheless said she was 'pleasantly surprised' by the turnout. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
