The coffin of Pharaoh Ramses II, an exceptional loan from Egypt to France, has been unveiled at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, where it will be the highlight of an exhibition opening on 7 April. This wooden sarcophagus "has come down to us through something like 3,000 years," explains Egyptologist Benedicte Lhoyer.
