Description
As the last Credit Suisse annual general meeting wraps up, shareholders vent their anger and "incomprehension" at the hastily-arranged takeover by larger rival UBS -- a mega-merger of Switzerland's two biggest banks in which the shareholders of both banks had no say - with calls for the restitution of bonuses from those responsible for the bank's implosion. "It makes me really sad, this moment where we see the last assembly and that people who will lose out are the employees, the shareholders and finally the Swiss people who have also been betrayed," André Moustopoulos, an ex-Credit Suisse employee who spent 35 years working at the bank.
