Description
"Venezuela doesn't recognise the judicial mechanism as a means of resolving" the dispute with Guyana, says Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez, after ICJ allowed a case on a 19th-century border dispute between the two countries to go ahead despite fresh objections by Caracas. Vice President adds that Venezuela will "fully assess" the implications of the court's ruling and "adopt all measures at its disposal to defend its legitimate rights and territorial integrity."
