The collapse of a four-storey apartment building in the centre of Marseille, France's second largest city, has left at least five people injured and one person "in extreme shock", according to the city's mayor. The fire brigade is on scene but rescue operations are complicated by a fire. "It's an extremely delicate operation to be involved in both clearing and fighting the fire," says Admiral Lionel Mathieu, the commander of the Marseille marine fire brigade.
