During a visit to Northern Ireland to mark the 25th anniversary of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement, US President Joe Biden Biden urges the restoration of the devolved government in Belfast, using a speech during his brief visit to promote the benefits of enduring peace and investment. "I hope the (Northern Ireland) Assembly and Executive will soon be restored," Biden says in an address at Ulster University, urging feuding political leaders to restore power-sharing government which has been suspended since February last year.
