A year after their liberation from Russian forces, residents of Ukraine's Kyiv region are, on a daily basis, exposed to the threat of unexploded ordnance left behind. Images show deminers from the Ukrainian Emergency Service blowing up anti-tank mines and other explosive materials found in the town of Bucha. "People are returning to their homes and every day they find grenades, tripwires, anti-tank grenades, mines and other explosive devices" explains Mikola Murai, a 'sapper' or military engineer responsible for disposing to the threats on an army facility in Kyiv region.
