Frustration grows in Armenia over Russia's failure to back Yerevan in its long-lasting conflict with Baku for control of Azerbaijan's Armenian-majority enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh. Discontent has further increased recently after Baku blockaded the disputed region. Yerevan has accused Russian peacekeepers of failing their mandate when Baku blocked the sole road linking Karabakh with Armenia, provoking a humanitarian crisis in the mountainous territory.
