As the first liftoff of the world's largest rocket, Starship, developed by SpaceX for trips to the moon and Mars, is set to take place Thursday after a last-minute postponement Monday due to a technical problem, residents of South Padre Island off the southern tip of Texas are speaking out about their neighbor's presence. "It's created plenty of jobs and increased the number of tourists," said Paul Moses, a bartender who works on the island. "The only negative I can think of is the increased rent," he adds.
