Israelis gather on a Tel Aviv beach to watch an air show marking the 75th anniversary of the country's statehood. "I come here every year to see the planes in the name of my country" says Guy Ehani, one of those on the beach, "it's part of our culture, of our traditions". This year, the celebration comes with the country in the grip of political turmoil, triggered by controversial judicial reforms put forward by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing government.
