Reforms under consideration could end Germany's restrictive nationality laws and open the door for people from more countries to become dual citizens, including those from the country's large Turkish community. Originally from Turkey, right now Sener Sargut, Nilhan Tezer, and Kerem Esemen would have to give up their Turkish passports to get German citizenship, but are hoping the new reforms bring a change they say will "be a good step not only for us, but for Germany".
