Description
Venezuelan opposition figure Juan Guaido accuses Colombian President Gustavo Petro of supporting the government in Caracas at a press conference in Miami, where he landed earlier this week after being ejected from Colombia. On Monday, Guaido claimed to have been kicked out of Colombia, hours after he arrived in Bogota ahead of a conference on his crisis-torn country hosted by Petro. "While I was in Colombia, I received threats of deportation and precisely to be delivered into the hands of Maduro, who threatened my life, our freedom," Guaido tells a presser in Miami, Florida. "It’s only thanks to the intermediation of the United States government that I am here in the US with you," he adds. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
