Description
Five years ago, Gonzalo and Walter Queragama were forced to leave their native land in northwestern Colombia due to conflict between guerrilla groups, paramilitaries and the army. Today, the young rappers from the Embera indigenous community are using hip-hop to tell their story in the Colombian capital Bogota. Under the name Embera Warra (Indigenous sons), the duo rap in their native language about the violence that forced them from their home. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
