In the Protestant church of St. Thomas in Berlin, a few hundreds of Letzte Generation activists discuss and share a brunch before starting a climate march towards the Brandenburg Gate. The church has become an unlikely gathering point for these young activists used to shock actions. In the north-east of Berlin, another Protestant church, Gethsemane, is also hosting discussions on climate change. The sign on the front of the church reads "Church open to climate issues".
