The May Day parade, marked this year by union unity against pension reform, brought together 112,000 demonstrators in Paris between the Place de la République and the Place de la Nation according to the Ministry of the Interior, 550,000 according to the unions. "We don't want this world and we may try to build a new one tomorrow," says Angèle Laurent, 26, who is pleased to see "a lot of young people" in the march "because we are also the first ones concerned".
