In Saintes, Emmanuel Macron presents the reform of the vocational high school during a trip to Charente-Maritime. For the French president it "is not just a reform", but "a national cause". The day before, he promised to invest "nearly a billion per year" for vocational high schools in an article published Wednesday evening on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Macron's arrival was met by a caophony of pots and pans from people protesting his recent reform of the pension system. SOUNDBITE
