Chinese and American warships were among those displayed at Singapore’s Changi Naval Base on Thursday as part of the biennial IMDEX naval defence show, which returned to Singapore this week after a four-year hiatus during the pandemic.
22 warships from 13 countries were on display at the naval base, while over 250 companies from around the world participated in the exhibition, according to organisers.
A maritime security conference is also taking place on the sidelines of IMDEX, which aims to provide a platform for navy chiefs and maritime agencies to exchange views and strengthen ties. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
