Decorated with flags and banners, Russian capital Moscow was reinforced with police presence as the country prepares to mark one of its main holidays on May 9, "Victory day", with a traditional military parade in Red Square. The holiday celebrates the Soviet victory over the Nazis in World War II. The Kremlin has insisted that Moscow's May 9 parade will go ahead despite the alleged drone attack on the Kremlin and the attacks in border regions, and that it will take place under "strengthened" security.
