An unmarried Chinese woman begins a final appeal for the right to freeze her eggs, a service currently only available to married women in the country. The 35-year-old Xu Zaozao (also known as Teresa Xu) started to sue a top hospital in Beijing which declined to freeze her eggs in 2018, in the first case of its kind in China.
