"You know that Benjamin Briere and Bernard Phelan are free, they are on a flight to Paris. I am happy, of course, for their release and especially happy that they can be reunited with their families after such a long ordeal," says French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna during a European foreign minister summit in Stockholm. The two French citizens jailed in seperate cases have been released after spending months imprisoned in Iran.
