Festival-goers begin to arrive in Cannes, with a star-packed 76th edition set to open on Tuesday. Some 35,000 people are expected at this year's festival, which is taking place against a backdrop of possible social disruption. Around a thousand police and security guards are in place for the event. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
