Description
Private media and online outlets in the West African state of Guinea on Tuesday launched a one-day boycott of news in protest at press and internet restrictions by the ruling junta. "For more than three decades, this press has made gains that it is not ready to lose" says Talibé Barry, the director of Fréquence Info Médias (FIM) radio. Kemo Mansaré explains that on TV "the programs are down, it's just the music." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
