"The truth is now in motion and we believe it will go far" says Yaël Hayat, Islamic scholar Tariq Ramadan's lawyer, after a Swiss court acquitted him on charges of rape and sexual coercion. The plaintiff's lawyers have vowed to appeal the verdict in the case, having last week called for a three-year sentence for the former Oxford University professor.
