Description
The public prosecutor of Reims, Matthieu Bourrette, indicated at a press briefing that he had requested the indictment for "murder" and "attempted murder" of the man suspected of stabbing a nurse to death and injuring a medical secretary during an attack at the University Hospital of Reims. He also indicated that he had requested "rapid placement in a hospital-correctional unit, particularly in view of the risk of repeating the acts", as the defendant "suffers from schizophrenia and paranoia" and "has been under psychiatric care since 1985".
