Like many people her age, Hasibe Kayaroglu, a student from Ankara, hoped that the Turkish presidential election would bring about change. Instead, days before a runoff that increasingly looks like a coronation for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the engineering student is thinking more than ever about living abroad. "We live in a beautiful country but it's not run in the right way and it's getting worse.
