Description
"We'll be reliving what we went through": victims tell of their frustration at the appeal trial of a former dentist, who along with his father, was last year found guilty of mutilating hundreds of patients as part of a scheme to make money. Lionel Guedj, the son of Jean-Claude Guedj, was not present at the trial on Thursday. Lawyer Julien Pinelli said his client "suffers from a heart condition", but a medical exam has been ordered to decide whether he is fit to appear in court. A result is expected by Tuesday, when the trial resumes. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
