Around ten activists from Extinction Rebellion demonstrated outside the headquarters of TotalEnergies in the La Defense business district, near Paris, just minutes before the opening of the French oil and gas giant's Annual General Meeting. They attempted to break the glass on the site's doors before being dislodged by the tower's security service, and quickly left the premises after putting up posters denouncing the "climate emergency".
