Description
Canada is grappling with a ticking time bomb of violence, addiction and suicide linked to failing mental health services for its young people. Decades of chronic underfunding of mental health services has left many young people struggling in the wake of the punishing Covid-19 pandemic, sometimes with fatal consequences. "I would say the biggest thing right now is an increase in social anxiety," says Toronto resident Kat Romero. "A lot of folks are having a hard time kind of coming back to normal life as it were after being isolated." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES ARRANGED IN SEQUENCES N°33FX9DQ
