Demonstrators scuffle with Lebanese soldiers after closing a main highway in protest over a hike in customs duties. The protesters, many of them car dealers, burnt tyres and held placards that read "they've wrecked our homes". Lebanese authorities in mid-May raised the "customs dollar" -- the rate used to calculate duties on imported goods -- from 60,000 LBP to 86,000 LBP.
