Having reached the end of their lifespan, the 16 wind turbines in the commune of Treilles, France, are in the process of being replaced by the same number of turbines, but of more powerful models. No appeal has been lodged against this operation. For local residents, wind turbines are part of the landscape and represent a financial windfall for the municipality.
