"People think that a house is merely walls. No, it is memories of the past. It's my whole life," says Palestinian Nora Sub Laban. The 68-year-old woman sits in her cramped living room, inside the house where she spent her whole life, in the Old City of Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem, recalling memories of a past life that could be ripped away in the next few days, as she awaits eviction orders by Israeli authorities.
