Description
Australian fans of the K-pop band BTS sing, dance and brandish cut-outs of their favourite band members during a 12-day tour of South Korea, a pilgrimage being made to celebrate the group's 10th anniversary. "I love them because they've changed my life" explains Barbara Pena, the admin of the Australian chapter of BTS' fan association, ARMY. The trip was part-organised by South Korea's official tourism board and the fans are stopping at a number of locations, including the Seoul office of the band's agency, HYBE, and the cafe owned by band member Jimin's father. "I met his father" says Darrin Goodwin, who has made the trip with his daughter, "it was very surreal and it was an honour." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
