Speaking on the sidelines of the International Conference on the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, being hosted in London, French Foreign Minister, Catherine Colonna, declares that "my ministry will supplement its aid to Ukraine with a new sum in addition to the previous 40 million euros". On Wednesday, Kyiv's Western allies vowed to make Russia pay for its invasion, as governments and private investors met to fund the country's reconstruction. In addition to funding, an insurance mechanism was announced to protect private investors providing aid.
