Images of La Castellane district of Marseille, where French football legend Zinedine Zidane grew up. Known as one of the city's most difficult neighbourhoods and one of the poorest in Europe with crime-infested housing estates, Castellane is one of many areas specifically targeted by the French government for investment. On the second day of his visit to Marseille, French President Macron visited the area to talk to the heads of a local primary schools.
