Some 64 flights were cancelled at Geneva's international airport after operations were halted for several hours following a strike over a wage dispute. "What's happening at the moment everywhere is an increase in costs (...) we have more and more difficulty simply getting wages indexed to the cost of living" says Pierre-Yves Maillard, President of the Swiss Union USS.
