Description
A 1998 special documenting Keiko the killer whale's journey back to the wild, from his time in Mexico City, to his rehabilitation in Oregon to the water of Iceland. Keiko, known for his role in Free Willy, was the focus of a major effort to return him to the ocean after years in captivity. He was transferred to a sea pen in Iceland for rehabilitation, but despite these efforts, he struggled to integrate with wild orcas and continued seeking out human contact. Keiko passed away in 2003 in Norway, marking the end of his highly publicized move towards freedom.
