Ways of supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia and its future membership of NATO will be on the agenda of a summit of the US-led defence alliance in Vilnius, the alliance's head Jens Stoltenberg says ahead of the gathering. Speaking alongside Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, Stoltenberg says that its "still possible" for the alliance to have "a positive decision on Swedish membership" of the bloc, despite Turkey's long-time holdout President Recep Tayyip Erdogan earlier saying he would only back Sweden's NATO candidacy if the European Union resumes long-stalled membership talks with Ankara.
