Dozens of protesters gather in front of the Secretariat of the Interior in Mexico City to protest over the murder of the regional correspondent for leading Mexican newspaper La Jornada in the western state of Nayarit. Nayarit, on the Pacific coast, neighbors the states of Sinaloa to the northwest and Jalisco to the south, where the country's two largest drug trafficking cartels operate.
