On the eve of a vote being submitted to the European Parliament members, two protests brought together more than 300 people in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. One group of protesters led by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg advocated for the law on the restoration of nature, calling on MEPs to "vote for the strongest possible law". The other group comprising at least 200 farmers opposed to the text are demonstrating at the call of the Committee of Professional Agriculture Organisations (COPA).
