On Ukraine's eastern front, soldiers welcome the array of western military aid they're now able to deploy in the country's bitter fight against the Russian invasion: including French tanks, Italian guns and American Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems. Yuriy, the captain of the crew of an Italian M109L howitzer, even says he welcomes a controversial US decision to send cluster munitions to Kyiv, telling AFP that having them in their arsenal will make them "head and shoulders above (the Russians) in terms of range and effectiveness."
