People swim in the Nile river in al-Qanater al-Khayreya, on the outskirts of Cairo, to cool off and fight the rising temperatures as a heatwave hits Egypt. "What should we do? it is too hot here, and amid price surges, we can't go to Alexandria or any other place" says Mostafa Gamal, who came with his family to cool off on the banks of the Nile.
